Even before the opening ceremony, the market space was bustling with laughter, chatter, and the vibrant colors of the stalls.

Mr. Van Cong Khanh (La Thap Dong village, Thu Bon commune) shared: “This market is very significant, especially for us farmers. It's an opportunity to promote the products we make ourselves.”

Seeing traditional agricultural products circulating more effectively and people showing more interest, we believe that the lives of our people will improve even further.”

According to Mr. Phan Van Ngat, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Thu Bon commune, the 22 stalls gathered here are like a miniature painting, reflecting the vitality and prosperity of the Thu Bon region and the rural areas of Quang Nam province.

From vibrant green sticky rice cakes and jars of traditional Tet jam with their rich, hometown flavors, to OCOP-certified products from the city, everything is displayed meticulously and proudly.

Mr. Ngat said: “This is not only an opportunity for people to shop and prepare for a warm and cozy Tet holiday, but also a ‘stage’ for local agricultural products to affirm their value. Each product on display is the culmination of sweat from the fields and the dedication of skilled craftsmen.”

If the bustling activity of the stalls represents economic development, then the moment of giving heartfelt gifts is a poignant moment, reflecting the principle of "remembering the source when drinking water."

Accordingly, during the opening ceremony, 200 gifts worth a total of 100 million VND were handed over to policy beneficiary families, poor households, and people with particularly difficult circumstances; expressing sincere gratitude to families who have contributed to the revolution.

The spirit of mutual support and compassion was further amplified through the lucky draw program and other side activities, with the total value of gifts reaching over 400 million VND.

All of this funding was raised from organizations, individuals, and businesses that partnered with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Bon commune, in the spirit of "leaving no one behind."

Mr. Truong Thanh Tung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Bon commune, affirmed: "The market fair is not only aimed at promoting products or attracting tourists , but its core purpose is to create a spirit of 'mutual support'."

We want to create an environment where all citizens, regardless of their circumstances, can feel the festive atmosphere of Tet and the warmth of community care.”

The first "Charity Tet Market" in Thu Bon commune marks a new beginning for heartfelt social welfare activities in this newly established administrative unit.

When sharing becomes a bridge, when the joy of the recipient and the happiness of the giver merge into one, that is when spring truly knocks on every door.

Spring is a season of warmth, camaraderie, and aspirations for progress stemming from the strength of national unity.
