There are still two weeks until the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, but the house of Ms. Le Thuy Oanh (in Vinh Tuong, Vinh Phuc ) is already filled with red colors to welcome the new year.
Looking at the photos Oanh shared on her personal page, many people thought they were taken at a professional photo studio. However, Oanh said that these are angles from inside her house.

Ms. Oanh said that for the past five years, every Tet holiday, she and her family have spent time decorating their house early to create a space for taking photos and welcoming guests.
This year, Ms. Oanh created four photo spots, including three indoors and one in the garden. The largest spot indoors is in the atrium area, where you step up the stairs.

In the corner next to the wall, inside the bedroom, various flowers and decorative details characteristic of the New Year are also arranged.

Each corner has its own unique design, with red and yellow as the dominant colors. Ms. Oanh and her husband consulted online designs and adapted them to suit the space of their home.
Ms. Oanh ordered dried flowers, red paper, conical hats, lanterns, rattan and bamboo crafts, etc., online to decorate her house for Tet (Lunar New Year).
Her husband is the one who measures and makes the frames for the miniature landscapes. For many years, knowing that his wife enjoys taking photos and decorating the house, he has always supported her and meticulously created each miniature landscape to welcome the Lunar New Year.

The cost of decorating the photo spots for Tet celebrations at Ms. Oanh's family was approximately 12 million VND, with the boat and the fish made of handcrafted woven rattan being the most expensive items.
The process of decorating the miniature landscapes took about three days. Many guests were surprised and praised the meticulousness of Ms. Oanh and her husband.
