The players who will temporarily bid farewell to the Vietnamese women's team in this round include: Tran Thi Thu Xuan, Cu Thi Huynh Nhu, Ngo Thi Hong Nhung, Le Thi Thuy Trang and Dinh Thi Thuy Dung.
Previously, on the afternoon of June 3.6, the Vietnamese women's team had a practice match with the green army, a team from the US Embassy. In the end, coach Mai Duc Chung's students won 3-1 with goals from Huynh Nhu, Thuy Hang and Tuyet Ngan.
As planned, at 6 a.m. on June 5.6, the Vietnamese women's team will depart from the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center (Vietnam Football Federation) to Noi Bai International Airport. From here, the team will take a flight at 9:55 am to Frankfurt International Airport (Germany).
Due to some work to be handled with the owner club Lank FC, Huynh Nhu will move to Portugal before joining the team in Germany.
The Vietnamese women's team will have 3 friendly matches against Eintracht Frankfurt Club (10.6), Short Mainz Club (15.6) and the German women's team (June 24.6). During this time, the Vietnamese women's team will also have a short trip to Poland and have a friendly match with Poland U.23 on June 21.6.
After this training trip, the Vietnamese women's team will return home and continue training at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center before moving to New Zealand on July 5.7.
At this final stage, coach Mai Duc Chung and his students will have more than 10 days of practice and friendly matches with hosts New Zealand and Spain, before officially entering the journey at the 2023 World Cup.
