The Speaker of the National Assembly was pleased to note that the relationship between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan has taken a new step forward with the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two parties in 2023.
Noda Yoshihiko, chairman of the Constitutional Democratic Party, welcomed National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the high-level delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly to Japan; affirming that, in his capacity, he would promote exchanges and cooperation between the two parties in accordance with the spirit of the signed cooperation agreement.
CDPJ Chairman Noda Yoshihiko stated that during his tenure as Prime Minister of Japan from 2011-2012, he held talks with the Prime Minister of Vietnam three times.
From that point on, Mr. Noda recognized that Vietnam's demographic structure was in a perfect stage, with a majority of the workforce being young and a low proportion of the elderly.
Meanwhile, Japan's demographic structure is the opposite, with a high proportion of elderly people and a low proportion of people of working age.

Chairman Noda Yoshihiko stated that Japan has advantages in technology and expertise, and can support Vietnam in implementing large-scale projects and programs.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man thanked CDPJ Chairman Noda Yoshihiko for the affection he showed towards Vietnam and its people during his time as Prime Minister of Japan 12 years ago.
Emphasizing that the Constitutional Democratic Party (CDPJ) is a reputable party in the Japanese House of Representatives, the Speaker of the National Assembly expressed confidence that the prestige of the CDPJ and its Chairman, Noda Yoshihiko, will further promote relations between the Vietnamese National Assembly and the Japanese Parliament in the future.
