Within the framework of the 31st session, the National Assembly Standing Committee spent one day to organize questions and answer questions on a group of issues in the fields of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The questioning session was held in the Dien Hong meeting room, National Assembly House and was connected online to 62 bridge points of National Assembly delegations in provinces and centrally run cities. The questioning session was broadcast live on the Voice of Vietnam and broadcast live on Vietnam Television and Vietnam National Assembly Television for voters and people to watch and supervise.
The Chairman of the National Assembly affirmed that the selection of a group of questions to be questioned at this session was carefully considered on the basis of synthesizing information sources and proposals of National Assembly delegations, and opinions of delegates. National Assembly representatives, reviewing the scope of questioning at the 6th Session and the National Assembly sessions, the National Assembly Standing Committee sessions from the beginning of the term until now, and at the same time starting from the practical situation to create favorable conditions. for all sector ministers to participate in answering questions. The National Assembly Standing Committee decided to choose to question groups of issues under the state management responsibility of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Accordingly, in the morning, under the direction of Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai, National Assembly delegates will question the Minister of Finance about the following groups of issues: Management and supervision of activities. insurance business and service activities in the field of life insurance business; Appraisal and licensing of operations of companies providing financial-related services; Implementation of laws on lottery, betting, casino and prize-winning electronic games business activities; Customs procedures, customs inspection and supervision; prevent and combat smuggling and illegal transportation of goods across borders; Price management and determination of prices of goods and services on the list of goods and services priced by the State.
Noting that the questioning time is only one day, to ensure maximum effective use of time, the Chairman of the National Assembly requested National Assembly delegates to ask clear, concise and straightforward questions on issues of frank debate. , highly constructive responsibility according to regulations, each National Assembly delegate will conduct questioning for no more than 1 minute; Debate time should not exceed 2 minutes.
