In 2025, the Engineering Corps Command will maintain a firm grasp of the situation, proactively advise the Ministry of National Defense , and issue Engineering Corps directives on combat readiness to ensure security and safety, while also organizing the search and disposal of bombs, mines, and explosive devices, and protecting important political events of the Party, State, and Army.

The Corps Command has effectively performed its function of directing and guiding specialized engineering training throughout the entire army. Engineering units across the army have prioritized and promoted specialized training. Training and professional development for officers has been conducted according to hierarchical levels; in-service training has been maintained in accordance with regulations, thereby improving the training level and methods of officers at all levels, ensuring that the officers fulfill their assigned responsibilities and tasks. Technical and professional personnel have been trained to possess sufficient skills in operating, using, maintaining, servicing, and repairing equipment in their inventory, especially new and modern equipment. In particular, engineering units participating in combined arms exercises, regional defense exercises, and civil defense exercises, as directed by military regions and corps, have achieved the set objectives and requirements.

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant General Nguyen Ba Luc acknowledged and commended the achievements of the engineering units throughout the army. Looking ahead, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff requested that all engineering units continue to train their officers, improve their organizational skills and specialized training methods, and enhance command and control. He also called for improved training quality for all personnel, and for intensified night training, mobile training, and high-intensity training combined with physical fitness training.

The units maintain quality and efficiency in management and training, providing practical training for technical staff beyond the basic training program, especially for newly assigned personnel. Focus on practical training and the operation and use of technical equipment in the unit's inventory, with particular emphasis on training in the operation and mastery of new-generation, modern technical equipment.
