At the close of trading on July 1st, the VN-Index continued to rise by 1.77 points, equivalent to 0.13%, reaching 1,377 points, a three-year high. The VN30-Index also increased by 1.77 points; the HNX-Index decreased by 0.77 points; and the UPCoM-Index decreased by 0.12 points.

Across the entire market, the total value of matched transactions reached over 17,000 billion VND. The stock market was mixed, with 117 stocks rising, 5 hitting the ceiling price; 53 stocks remaining at the reference price, and 196 stocks falling.

In that group, MSN stock led the negative impact on the index, followed by MWG, EIB, VND, VNM, VHM, etc.

MSN shares fell 2.08% to 75,200 VND per share. This decline caused fluctuations in the net worth of billionaire Nguyen Dang Quang. According to Forbes statistics, as of the afternoon of July 1st, his net worth had decreased by $22 million, reaching $1.1 billion, placing him 2,894th on the list of the world's richest people.

Foreign investors significantly increased net selling today, exceeding 300 billion VND. VJC was the most heavily sold stock by foreign investors, with a value of over 340 billion VND, followed by HDB, HPG, GEX, HDG, etc. Conversely, foreign investors net bought shares such as HVN, MSN,FPT , DBC, NLG, etc.
