In early 2026, the Long Xuyen Ward Police organized the launch of the "Security Gate" model in the Teacher's Village residential area, An Giang University, in Tay Hue 1 hamlet, Long Xuyen ward. Attending the launch were the ward police, local authorities, and a large number of residents in the hamlet. The "Security Gate" model is a practical solution to control the security situation in the locality, contributing to creating a safe, stable, and civilized living environment for the people. The model was built with a total cost of 30 million VND, from social contributions and donations from the people. Captain Duong Tri Hau - Deputy Head of Long Xuyen Ward Police, said that this model demonstrates the decisive involvement of the Party committee, local authorities, police force, and the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the people in the residential area. Through the model, the people's awareness of complying with the law has been significantly improved. Community bonds have been strengthened, and the cooperative relationship between the people and the police force is close and solid.

Mr. Tran Thanh Hung, a resident of the Teacher's Village residential area, shared: "There aren't many houses here, so criminals take advantage of people's absence to steal property. After more than two months of implementing the 'Security Gate' model, I've seen a decrease in theft, and people feel safer..." Lieutenant Colonel Tran Tat Thanh - Police officer of Tay Hue 1 neighborhood, said: "Since the model was put into operation, the Teacher's Village area has no longer experienced social vices, and especially, there have been no property theft cases like before."

The "Security Gate" model is an important step in building safe, civilized, and crime-free residential areas, contributing to maintaining political stability, social order, and security, for the peaceful lives of the people. "To ensure the model's sustainable effectiveness, each household must continue to maintain vigilance and actively cooperate with the police force in patrolling, detecting, and reporting crimes. Together, we must maintain and preserve the security gate, preventing damage and deterioration," said Captain Duong Tri Hau.

After more than 3 years since its launch, the "Security and Order Assurance Linkage" model in Thanh Loc Industrial Park, Thanh Loc Commune, has been effectively implemented and maintained in the area, contributing to maintaining political stability, social order and safety, and actively serving the socio -economic development of the locality. Major Vu Le Anh Tuan, Deputy Head of Thanh Loc Commune Police, said: “Through this model, the commune police have organized 8 direct information sessions for approximately 2,000 workers on the methods of property theft, disruptive behavior, online fraud, and traffic safety. Through coordinated patrols and guarding inside and outside the industrial park, we have promptly prevented 5 incidents of fighting and disturbance, resolved 3 fights within companies, and successfully mediated 2 cases.”

Mr. Luu Ngoc Son, Team Leader of the Security Team at Thai Binh Kien Giang Joint Stock Company, Thanh Loc Industrial Park, shared: “Thanh Loc Industrial Park attracts many workers and laborers, and is located near residential areas and many businesses. Many criminals take advantage of this to commit crimes. After implementing the new operational model, the company's leadership has instructed relevant departments to fully implement regulations and rules regarding the protection of the premises, security teams, fire prevention and fighting forces… ensuring 24/7 readiness. The security situation here has become more stable than before, and the people are very happy.”
