Joining hands to build a house for the children of Agent Orange victims.

On May 24th, Tran Yen commune mobilized 50 officers and soldiers of the armed forces along with members of various organizations to help dismantle the house of Ms. Vu Thi Canh's family in Dao Thinh 2 village to build a new house. Ms. Canh is the daughter of a victim of Agent Orange and is considered to be in difficult housing circumstances.

The forces assisting the family of Ms. Vu Thi Canh, in Dao Thinh 2 village, helped dismantle their dilapidated house to build a new one.

The family's three-room wooden house, built over 40 years ago, is now dilapidated and unsuitable for living. From the Central "For the Poor" Fund, as per Prime Minister 's Official Letter No. 270, Ms. Canh's family received 60 million VND to build a new house.

Besides participating in the demolition of houses, the forces also assisted in transporting materials and clearing the site, contributing to speeding up the construction progress.

On this occasion, Tran Yen commune also had one family receiving support for house repairs with a budget of 30 million VND. The locality strives to complete both projects in time for the 65th anniversary of the Day for Victims of Agent Orange in Vietnam and the 79th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs.
