This special event is part of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Festival 2024. Within the framework of this event, young talented singers performed excerpts and scenes from plays such as: "A Historical Picture," "Tay Son Female Heroes," and "Thunder Resounding on the Nhu Nguyet River"...

Most of the young amateur singers participate in the children's traditional music club in Phu Nhuan District (Ho Chi Minh City). They are inspired by basic pieces, then progress to more advanced levels, becoming familiar with roles and the stage.

Nine-year-old Ho Thao Nhi, residing in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, shared: "I really enjoy singing Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera) because every time I perform historical characters, I feel very proud. I hope that in the future I can become a Cai Luong artist."

Many young people attentively watched the excerpts and musical performances.

According to director Thanh Bi (Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural Center), for over 30 years, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural Center has maintained a Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera) stage for young people passionate about preserving national culture. "We hope that after this special event, famous and established artists will interact with and guide young artists so that this Cai Luong art form will be preserved for many generations to come," director Thanh Bi emphasized.
