The "Drop of Red" voluntary blood donation program.

The program attracted 250 volunteers, including officials, doctors, and nurses working at units under the Ninh Binh health sector, to participate in voluntary blood donation.
The expected amount of 230 units of blood to be received will contribute to ensuring the necessary blood reserves to promptly supply medical facilities for treating patients; at the same time, it will allow blood donors to have their health checked.

The volunteers hope that the "Drop of Red - White Blouse" program will continue for a long time.

This occasion also aims to honor the noble deeds of Ninh Binh's medical staff who directly donate blood to save patients' lives, demonstrating the noble quality of "a good doctor is like a loving mother"; thereby, spreading the blood donation movement to a large number of people in the province.

According to Ngo Ngoc Quang, Deputy Director of the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Health, "'Drop of Red - White Blouse' is an annual voluntary blood donation activity of the Ninh Binh health sector aimed at promoting and raising awareness among medical staff, doctors, and public employees about the purpose, meaning, and humanitarian value of voluntary blood donation to save lives."

In particular, over the past years, the voluntary blood donation movement in the medical sector has been actively organized, mobilizing a large number of officials and employees to participate and donate blood voluntarily. Currently, Ninh Binh province has sufficient blood reserves. However, the health sector is still actively encouraging officials to donate blood to send to central hospitals to meet the blood needs of higher-level facilities.
