IDECAF's "fairy tale" is back.

"Fairy Tales" is a children's art program by the IDECAF Theatre, alongside the already established "Once Upon a Time" program. With its witty, humorous, and educational stories, "Fairy Tales" will reunite with audiences after a 14-year hiatus.

The play "The Adventures of the Doll Boy" (written by Quang Thảo, directed by Đình Toàn) features artists such as Đại Nghĩa, Đình Toàn, Bạch Long, Thanh Thủy, Hồng Ánh, Hoàng Trinh, Quang Thảo, Mai Phượng, Đông Hải… The play tells the story of a dollhouse. The owner couple, being childless, decide to invent a doll that closely resembles a human. This leads to various problems surrounding the arrival of this new member of the family.

"The 'Fairy Tale' is usually performed during the Christmas season. Four shows were staged 14 years ago, but due to difficulties at the theater, the program was temporarily suspended. This time, however, because the artists have many filming schedules at the end of the year, the IDECAF Theater couldn't organize a performance during Christmas. Therefore, the program will be performed in January 2024," Mr. Huynh Anh Tuan informed.

Five performances will premiere at the Youth Theatre (within the Youth Cultural Center complex, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) from January 7 to 28, 2024. Performances will take place every Saturday and Sunday, at 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM.
