Stories of heroes

Throughout the journey of fighting for the independence and freedom of the nation, there have been many examples of brave and resilient soldiers, ready to sacrifice on the battlefield. Among the heroes who made the glorious victory of the nation, there were two sons of Vinh Phuc : Hero of the People's Armed Forces Tran Kim Xuan   and Hero of the People's Armed Forces Nguyen Quang Loc.

In the house of People's Armed Forces Hero Tran Kim Xuan, Dinh Chu Commune, Lap Thach District, along with the noble titles awarded by the Party, State and Government , there is always a corner reserved for special wartime memorabilia. Once the Battalion Commander of Battalion 93, Engineering Command. Hero Tran Kim Xuan directly cleared 38,000 bombs, mines and explosives during the resistance war. Returning between the fragility of life and death, the former hero is still optimistic, shining with the qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldier".

The war has receded into the past, but the memories of the time of "Splitting Truong Son to save the country" are still intact in the mind of the People's Armed Forces Hero Nguyen Quang Loc - the person who directly shot down 5 enemy planes in the historic battles of the nation. Perhaps the greatest honor and pride of the former air defense and air force soldier was the feat of shooting down a plane carrying many advisors and senior commanders of the puppet army in the sky of Saigon right before the day of total victory on April 30.

In the arduous war of the nation, there were many bloodsheds and sacrifices of previous generations. Those great sacrifices contributed to writing the glorious history of the heroic Vietnam People's Army so that the country could have the independence, freedom and happiness as today.
