HAGL Club and Chairman Duc's approach to football.

It's no surprise that Kiatisuk and his wife had a warm get-together with all the members of Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) Football Club in their hometown of Thailand on August 18th.

Over 22 years ago, on February 17, 2002, Kiatisuk, then the number one player in Southeast Asia, officially arrived in Pleiku, ushering in a new era not only for HAGL but also for the entire HAGL Group. Kiatisuk brought unexpected success to the HAGL Group, both on and off the field. The name HAGL FC became famous throughout the country, indirectly enabling the people of Gia Lai , especially students studying in other provinces and cities, to proudly introduce themselves as "I am from Gia Lai!"

In 2023, HAGL FC announced a new sponsor, Carabao, and the person who connected this brand with HAGL was Kiatisuk.

HAGL FC continues to prioritize using players trained at the HAGL Academy, allocating only a moderate amount to three contracts with foreign players. The majority of the budget is prioritized for HAGL FC's operating expenses throughout the season.

In preparation for the new V-League 2024-2025 season, HAGL FC is the only team to have a training tour abroad, specifically in Thailand. From August 14th to 22nd, HAGL FC played several high-quality friendly matches to assess their squad and prepare the best possible team for the new season. The team achieved positive results, winning against Prime Bangkok FC 3-1, Custom United 2-1, and Nonthaburi United 6-1 (all clubs in Thai League 3); and continued their winning streak with a 4-0 victory against Kasetsart FC (currently playing in Thai League 2)…

Following their training camp in Thailand, HAGL FC will participate in one final training session: the LPBank Securities Four-Team Tournament 2024, held at Thong Nhat Stadium from August 23rd, against three other teams: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Dinh, and Ho Chi Minh City Youth (First Division). With a squad strengthened by several players from the U21 team that recently won the national championship, players on loan from last season returning, and three foreign players, Coach Vu Tien Thanh stated: "The whole team is currently very confident and ready to enter the new season."
