On the afternoon of November 24th, three matches in the qualifying round of the 2023/2024 National Cup took place. Hoa Binh Club was unable to spring a surprise in their clash with Quang Nam Club.

Immediately after the opening whistle, the home team launched a relentless attack towards goalkeeper Nguyen Duy Dung's goal. The first dangerous situation came from Ngan Van Dai's shot that hit the crossbar.

However, it was Hoa Binh FC who opened the scoring first. In the 33rd minute, the yellow-shirted team launched a quick counter-attack. Van Son played a through pass to Anh Tu, who was running down the wing. The player wearing number 18 wasn't in a favorable position, but he still confidently fired a diagonal shot, beating Tong Duc An.

The two teams traded blows. In the 59th minute, Tran Hoang Hung crossed the ball into the penalty area. The ball touched a Quang Nam player before reaching Tang Tien. The former HAGL player capitalized on the opportunity, leveling the score.

Four minutes later, Quang Nam was awarded another free kick. Tang Tien headed the ball in, scoring their second goal. At this point, Hoa Binh FC was forced to push their formation higher, leaving many gaps in front of Duy Dung's goal.

Nguyen Dinh Bac successfully converted one of his two one-on-one opportunities against the Hoa Binh goalkeeper to increase the score to 3-1. Before the end of the match, Hoang Vu Samson sealed the 4-1 victory for the home team.

In the match played at Viet Tri Stadium, Long An FC unleashed a barrage of goals against the home team Phu Tho . Le Thanh Phong scored a hat-trick for the visiting team. The remaining two goals were scored by Cu Nguyen Khanh and Le Hoang Duong. The goals for Phu Tho were scored by Dinh Viet Loc and Bui Huy Hoang.

Meanwhile, Dong Nai FC defeated Ba Ria Vung Tau 2-0. Nguyen Hoang Huy and Bui Ngoc Thinh scored in this match.
