The identity of the winner has not yet been determined. The winner could choose to receive the $527 million in 30 installments, or receive a lump sum of $243.8 million. The lucky winner chose the correct numbers, with odds of winning being 1 in 292.2 million.

Previously, this year's Powerball jackpot went to Abbas Shafii, who won over $328 million in the Oregon drawing on January 18th. He chose to receive the money in a lump sum and took home over $146 million.
Last year, the lottery found a jackpot winner nine times. A Laotian man named Cheng "Charlie" Saephan won the biggest prize last year, hitting a jackpot of over $1.3 billion in April 2024, which was also the fourth largest jackpot in Powerball history.
