This morning's trading session (February 3rd), also the first day of the Lunar New Year after the Tet holiday, saw the stock market plunge into the red. At the close of the morning session, the VN-Index fell 9.57 points to 1,255.48 points. The leading stocks in the VN30 index weighed heavily on the market, dropping nearly 18.5 points, with 24 stocks declining and only 6 rising.
Amidst this context, QCG shares of Quoc Cuong Gia Lai Joint Stock Company are immersed in purple (indicating strong buying pressure) and "white" (indicating a lack of selling pressure). The share price has risen to 11,150 VND/unit, an increase of 10% in about two weeks. Investors are actively buying rather than selling.

Quoc Cuong Gia Lai's positive business results in 2024 may be the reason supporting QCG's share price. In the fourth quarter, the company recorded net revenue of nearly VND 486 billion, more than three times higher than the same period last year; after-tax profit exceeded VND 63 billion, nearly five times higher. The company stated that it handed over real estate apartments during the period.
In 2024, the company headed by General Director Nguyen Quoc Cuong achieved net revenue of over 729 billion VND, a 69% increase compared to the previous year. Pre-tax profit reached 88 billion VND, and after- tax profit was nearly 72 billion VND (24 times higher than the previous year). However, despite high growth, compared to the annual plan, Quoc Cuong Gia Lai only completed 56% of its revenue target and 88% of its profit target.
Several other stocks also rarely hit the ceiling price this morning with no sellers. DLG shares of Duc Long Gia Lai Group Joint Stock Company rose to the ceiling price of 2,020 VND/unit. GEE shares of Gelex Power Joint Stock Company rose to the ceiling price of 37,850 VND/unit. TNT shares of TNT Group Joint Stock Company rose to the ceiling price of 4,640 VND/unit.
Returning to the overall market trend, key stock groups such as banking and securities all declined. Technology stocks fell sharply, withFPT Group's shares dropping 4% to 147,200 VND/unit. Capital flow favored small and medium-sized stocks.
A positive aspect of this morning's trading session was the improved market liquidity, possibly due to the celebratory investor sentiment towards the Lunar New Year. Morning trading volume reached over 7,785 billion VND.
