Paul Walker's daughter - Meadow Walker

Meadow Walker shared a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram revealing her appearance in the Universal blockbuster, which takes place on a plane. Fast X is scheduled to have its world premiere in Rome, Italy, on May 12.

"The first Fast and Furious came out when I was one year old!" Meadow Walker captioned the post. "I grew up on film sets watching my dad, aunts and uncles: Vin, Jordana, Michelle, Chris and many others on camera. Thanks to my dad, I was born into a fast family. I can't believe I now get to act alongside the people who have been there for me since I was a child and watched me grow up," she continued.

Meadow Walker thanked Fast X director Louis Leterrier for his "kindness, patience and support. It feels like you've been part of the family since we started. I'm so glad it's just the beginning." Leterrier is also set to direct the upcoming 11th Fast and Furious film.

“I am so blessed to be able to honor my father's legacy and share this with him forever,” Meadow added.

Paul Walker died in a car crash in 2013 at the age of 40. In the 10 years since his death, the Fast and Furious franchise has continued to pay tribute to both the actor and his character, Brian O'Conner, an undercover cop turned outlaw.

Furious 7 marked Paul Walker's final silver screen appearance in the franchise and Caleb and Cody stepped in to complete his remaining scenes.

Brian was then mentioned in the sequels of the series: Fate of the Furious (2017) and F9: The Fast Saga (2021). In the latest film, the character reappeared through flashbacks to Fast Five (2011), making Meadow's appearance all the more touching.

Meadow Walker is the latest addition to the film's massive cast, which features producer and star Vin Diesel alongside series regulars Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Jordana Brewster and Sung Kang. Additional cast members include a slew of stars: John Cena, Jason Statham, Scott Eastwood, Michael Rooker, Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron. Leo Abelo Perry plays Dominic Toretto's son, Brian, who is named in honor of Walker's character.

Jason Momoa leads the new cast, playing the villainous Dante Reyes. Newcomers to the film include Brie Larson, Daniela Melchior, Alan Ritchson and Rita Moreno (who plays the Torettos' grandmother).

Fast X hits theaters worldwide on May 19.
