Humans receive signals from parallel universes through wormholes?
The parallel universe theory has exploded once again after scientists discovered that the GW190521 signal could be transmitted to Earth through a wormhole.

In 2019, scientists unexpectedly recorded the mysterious signal GW190521. This signal reached Earth 7 billion years later and was still strong enough for the sensor network to detect. In a newly published study, researchers speculate that the mysterious GW190521 signal may come from a parallel universe. Photo: Qi Lai, et al., (2025). According to a research team led by Dr. Qi Lai of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, GW190521 could be an "echo" of the collapse of a wormhole. Photo: Qi Lai, et al., (2025). If the collision of two black holes is powerful enough to create a tunnel between the two universes, the signal could travel down the throat of the wormhole into our universe. Image: D. Ferguson, K. Since the wormhole was only open for a very short time, this explains why the GW190521 signal recorded only a very short duration. Image: Mark Myers. "A wormhole represents an object that connects two separate universes or two distant regions within a single universe. If the merger of two black holes creates a short-lived wormhole like this, we can pick up a signal for a very short time. When the wormhole closes, the signal will be cut off and only a very short burst of gravitational waves will remain," said Dr. Qi Lai. Photo: ladbible. Dr Qi Lai said that although no definitive evidence has been found yet, it is still impossible to rule out the possibility that the GW190521 signal transmitted to Earth came from another universe. Before this study, researchers said the GW190521 signal was generated by two smaller black holes merging into one. Image: Maggie Chiang for Simons Foundation. The "parents" of GW190521 are estimated to be 85 and 65 times the mass of the Sun, approximately 150 billion trillion kilometers from Earth. This merger released energy equivalent to 8 times the mass of the Sun. Photo: popsci.
