Recently, the Provincial Police have coordinated with relevant units to survey, collect and update information of 4,257 martyrs and their relatives in the province; of which 2,673 martyrs have not had their graves identified.
At the program launch, the provincial police collected DNA samples from 93 martyrs’ relatives. Of these, 16 elderly martyrs’ mothers who were too weak to come to the sample collection location had their samples taken at their homes by the working groups.

Sharing about this meaningful and humane activity, Colonel Do Tien Thuy, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, emphasized that, as the standing agency implementing the plan, the Provincial Police hopes to continue receiving the attention and direction of the Provincial People's Committee; the coordination of relevant units, localities, and agencies and enterprises to synchronously and effectively carry out the activity of collecting DNA samples for relatives and families of unidentified martyrs in the province.
On this occasion, the Provincial Police presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, mothers of martyrs and relatives of unidentified martyrs who participated in sample collection.
