Over the past period, the Provincial Police have coordinated with relevant units to survey, collect, and update information on 4,257 martyrs and their relatives in the province; of which 2,673 martyrs have not yet had their graves identified.
At the program launch, the Provincial Police organized the collection of DNA samples from 93 relatives of fallen soldiers. Of these, 16 elderly mothers of fallen soldiers who were unable to come to the sample collection site had their samples taken at their homes by the task force.

Sharing his thoughts on this meaningful humanitarian activity, Colonel Do Tien Thuy, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, emphasized that, as the permanent agency implementing the plan, the Provincial Police hopes to continue receiving the attention and guidance of the Provincial People's Committee; and the cooperation of relevant units, localities, agencies, and businesses to synchronously and effectively carry out the activity of collecting DNA samples for relatives and families of unidentified martyrs in the province.
On this occasion, the Provincial Police presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, mothers of martyrs, and relatives of martyrs whose identities have not been determined, who participated in the sample collection.
