On the afternoon of May 15th, in Hanoi , the Industry and Trade Newspaper, in collaboration with the Import-Export Department, organized the ceremony to announce "Vietnam Logistics Day and Vietnam Logistics Week".
Vietnam Logistics Day and Vietnam Logistics Week are held annually to raise awareness among all levels of government, sectors, and society as a whole about the role of logistics services in socio -economic development, international integration, and enhancing national competitiveness.
This activity also promotes the effective implementation of policies and laws on the development of Vietnam's logistics services, focusing on digital transformation, green logistics, and sustainable development.
Vietnam Logistics Day and Vietnam Logistics Week also aim to strengthen international cooperation, promote trade, attract investment in logistics infrastructure and technology, and connect Vietnam's logistics with the region and the world .

The event also aims to honor and encourage the business community and workers in the logistics industry to continue innovating, applying high technology, improving the quality of human resources and competitiveness to meet the requirements of integration in the new era.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Khac Le, Deputy Secretary General of the Vietnam Logistics Services Business Association, said that in recent years, the Vietnamese logistics industry has developed strongly and gradually affirmed its role as the "lifeblood" of the economy.
Logistics is no longer just a support service; it has become a crucial service sector with a direct impact on the competitiveness of businesses and the national supply chain.
Particularly in the context of digital transformation, the rapid development of e-commerce, and the increasing demand for greening supply chains and adapting to global sustainable development standards, the Vietnamese logistics industry is facing many great opportunities but also numerous challenges.
This reality requires the logistics business community to continue innovating its management models, investing in technology, developing high-quality human resources, and strengthening linkages between different links in the supply chain.
“The announcement of Vietnam Logistics Day and Vietnam Logistics Week is of great practical significance. We expect this to become a national-scale annual event, contributing to raising social awareness of the role of logistics; and at the same time creating more motivation for businesses in the industry to promote innovation, digital transformation, and the development of green logistics, smart logistics, and integrated logistics,” Mr. Nguyen Khac Le emphasized.
