Brand promotion
More than two months have passed since the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang City, and the Da Nang Women Entrepreneurs Association (DAWE) signed a memorandum of cooperation to develop the project "Da Nang Building Trust: Trust in Vietnamese Goods - Made in Da Nang". Many activities promoting typical Da Nang products have been jointly organized or participated in by the parties, most notably the 2025 Autumn Fair and the seminar "Made in Da Nang: Building Trust, Elevating Local Brands and Products" held on December 19th.
Ms. Le Thi Nam Phuong, Chairwoman of DAWE, stated: “As the international market fluctuates and tariff and technical barriers become increasingly stringent, the domestic market, if given due attention, will become a solid pillar for Vietnamese businesses. Alongside this, we also share an important understanding: if we want Vietnamese people to trust and use Vietnamese products, Vietnamese producers must also be responsible to Vietnamese consumers. Trust cannot be built on its own; it must be built on quality and the attitude of businesses towards their products and customers.”
With this vision, the project "Da Nang Building: Trust in Vietnamese Goods - Made in Da Nang" will be implemented collaboratively by three parties: the City People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, and the Department of Industry and Trade, focusing on specific tasks based on key pillars including: propaganda, training, sales support, domestic and international trade promotion, market connectivity, from traditional markets to supermarkets and modern distribution channels.
Consuming each other's products
As an initiative following the impact of Covid-19, the City's Young Entrepreneurs Association organizes cooperation and trade signing programs between member businesses. Accordingly, the program aims to support members in increasing revenue, profits, product sales, economic recovery and development, while also encouraging members to prioritize using and supporting each other's products.
For example: NOSCO Co., Ltd. and Intimex Joint Stock Company cooperate on product distribution at the Intimex supermarket chain; Vietnam Uniform Trading and Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Bac Trung Nam Seafood Joint Stock Company cooperate on mutual product consumption; and An Dien General Trading Co., Ltd. and Central Vietnam Container Joint Stock Company cooperate on the distribution of tires and logistics services…
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, Director of An Dien General Trading Company Limited, said that signing a cooperation agreement within the Young Entrepreneurs Association network is not simply about finding partners, but about seeking trust and understanding. Thanks to the association's connections, the company has partnered with Central Vietnam Container Joint Stock Company, creating a closed loop: the company provides quality tires for their fleet operation, and in return, Central Vietnam Container Joint Stock Company supports them with market connections and optimal logistics solutions.
Over three years since the implementation of agreements on mutual product consumption, many members of the Young Entrepreneurs Association have had more opportunities for cooperation. Mr. Mai Minh Vuong, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Association, acknowledges that thanks to the spirit of "Da Nang people prioritize using Da Nang products," member businesses have reduced the pressure of intermediary and marketing costs.
“Each signed contract is a handshake, further motivating businesses to confidently reinvest and improve service quality. I believe that when the ‘gears’ of businesses within the association mesh together, we will create a strong alliance, capable of withstanding future market fluctuations,” Mr. Vuong said.
