Technology brought FPT nearly $1 billion in revenue after 9 months.

Technology contributed 59% ofFPT 's total revenue after 9 months, reaching over 22,500 billion VND, an increase of nearly 26% compared to the same period last year.

FPT Group (FPT) has just announced its business results for the first nine months of the year. Accordingly, the company recorded total revenue of over VND 37,900 billion and pre-tax profit of over VND 6,700 billion, an increase of 22.4% and 19.5% respectively compared to the same period last year.

The Technology segment, comprising domestic and international IT services, continues to play a key role. This segment contributed 59% of the group's revenue and 46% of its pre-tax profit, equivalent to VND 22,517 billion and VND 3,128 billion respectively, representing increases of 25.7% and 20.8%.

Of that total, overseas revenue reached VND 17,626 billion, an increase of nearly 31%, with pre-tax profit reaching VND 2,878 billion, an increase of 30%. Key markets maintained their growth momentum, especially in Japan. Despite the depreciation of the yen, FPT's revenue in Japan still increased by more than 44%. Digital transformation revenue from overseas markets in the first nine months reached VND 7,710 billion, an increase of 46%, focusing on technologies such as cloud, AI/data analytics...

FPT announced that it has received numerous large orders from overseas markets, with newly signed revenue reaching VND 20,700 billion, an increase of over 23%. Of these, 20 projects are worth over USD 5 million. In July, the group signed an agreement to develop software for various devices from Nippon Seiki – Japan's largest manufacturer of speed measuring equipment.

The domestic IT services sector still faces many challenges due to declining demand from corporate clients. Revenue reached nearly 4,900 billion VND, an increase of 10.2%, while pre-tax profit reached 250 billion VND, a decrease of 34%.

FPT stated that it will continue to strengthen cooperation with the government, ministries, foreign businesses, and economic sectors that have been less affected. To date, FPT has facilitated the signing of digital transformation cooperation agreements with nearly 30 localities.

Within the telecommunications and education segments, the telecommunications service recorded double-digit growth. Revenue in this segment reached VND 11,278 billion, an increase of 10%. Pre-tax profit reached VND 2,217 billion, an increase of 15%. Strong demand for IT education helped boost FPT's education segment revenue by 43%, reaching VND 4,435 billion.
