On June 30th, Crossfire: Legends – the popular FPS game from publisher VNGGames – officially updated its content to version 4.0, including many new and unique game modes. With these updates, CrossFire: Legends has opened up diverse gameplay options, multiple in-game roles, and various approaches so that each player can leverage their strengths and find their own path to victory.
With a host of new game modes to experience in Crossfire: Legends version 4.0, gamers can freely express their play style that suits their personality and strengths, thereby making their mark in every battle.
The new game modes in Crossfire: Legends include:
1. Economic C4 regime

The first new game mode introduced in version 4.0 of Crossfire: Legends is called Economic C4. While in regular matches you enter the game with weapons already prepared in your backpack, Economic C4 will present you with an exciting challenge of managing your money.
The interesting thing about this game mode is that players cannot bring their existing weapons into the match. Instead, you are provided with a wallet containing initial capital to "buy" weapons for each round. You will have to earn money by contributing to your team's success, such as successfully planting or defusing bombs, or directly participating in bomb control. Depending on the level of contribution, you will receive a corresponding reward.
The term "Economy" refers to managing your money and spending wisely. If you're short on funds, you'll have to implement "Eco rounds," meaning you have to limit your purchases of high-end equipment and save money for later.
Weapons acquired outside of the match will be displayed as gun skins when used in the match, without affecting the weapon's performance stats. When eliminated, the player will drop their purchased primary weapon, which other players (both allies and opponents) can pick up and continue using in combat.
2. Zombie Chase Mode

Unlike modes like "Destroyer" or "Savior," the gameplay in Zombie Chase mode takes a surprising turn. Instead of trying to maintain points like in normal gameplay, this mode features a combat mechanism that forces players to overcome multiple consecutive levels in a single match.
Now, the Human faction's objective is to complete all levels, pass through the Teleportation Gates, and escape the Zombie faction's pursuit. Conversely, the Zombie faction must infect the entire Human faction before they escape. Any player who carelessly falls into the abyss will also turn into a Zombie.
To overcome the Human team's weakness in ammunition supply when constantly advancing through levels, the map in Zombie Chase mode will have additional reload areas. Thanks to these, the Human team can reload at locations along the way.
3. Hide-and-seek mode

The unique and trending hide-and-seek gameplay has arrived in version 4.0 of Crossfire: Legends . In this new hide-and-seek mode, players will be randomly divided into two teams, clearly named hide and seek.
The hider will randomly choose one of three objects to transform into at the start of the round and must find a way to blend in with their surroundings. The longer they survive, the more prize money they will receive, which will be used to choose the object to transform into in subsequent rounds.
The seeker will use a gun to shoot at suspicious objects on the map. Missing an object will result in a penalty of HP loss, while hitting the object will restore HP to the seeker.
The player hiding wins if they remain undestroyed when the game time runs out, while the seeker wins if they find and eliminate all the players hiding on the map before the time runs out.
4. World Boss Mode

But that's not all; version 4.0 of Crossfire: Legends continues to add another incredibly exciting game mode called World Boss Mode, starting on July 8th. With two bosses appearing simultaneously, this is a challenging mode that requires players to work together.
This Brotherhood Boss Battle is a complex and equally engaging boss-hunting system. In the early stages, two bosses, Lightning and Fire, will attack simultaneously, each with its own unique attack skills. Therefore, players will have to fend off two different fighting styles at the same time. In later stages, these two bosses will merge into a final boss with a completely different set of skills.
However, the Boss will have physical weaknesses that will make it somewhat easier for the player to face such a highly agile enemy.
It's safe to say that the new gameplay content in the 4.0 update of Crossfire: Legends all have their own unique appeal. Some modes offer a completely different experience, others bring a modern play style to Crossfire: Legends players, but they all share one thing in common: providing new and exciting gaming experiences for the gaming community this summer .
