Lost old man gets help and support to find relatives

At 2:00 p.m. on August 23, 2025, Binh Duc Commune Police, Tay Ninh Province received a 65-year-old man who was lost in the Cau Voi area, heading towards Ben Luc Commune. When he was brought to the police station, the man showed signs of fatigue, did not have any identification documents with him, had a confused memory, and could only provide very little information.

During the initial conversation, he only remembered his name was “Van” and could not remember where he lived. Faced with this situation, Binh Duc Commune Police quickly arranged a place for him to rest and take care of his health, and immediately implemented measures to verify his identity.

Realizing that this was not a local resident and that the old man likely lived in a neighboring area, the Commune Police proactively posted information and photos on social networking sites and community forums.

Thanks to the strong spread of social networks and the sense of responsibility of the police force, after just over 2 hours, Binh Duc Commune Police received a call from Ms. Le Thi Yen Anh, residing in Ben Luc Commune, Tay Ninh Province. Ms. Yen Anh confirmed that she was the old man's daughter and said that the family was very worried because her father had left home in the morning but his whereabouts were unknown and they were looking for him.

Immediately after that, Ms. Yen Anh quickly went to the Binh Duc Commune Police Station, bringing her and her father's identification papers to prove their relationship. After comparing and verifying everything, the police force handed the old man over to his family in the joy of reunion.
