At the conference, representatives from the Dong Da Ward People's Committee informed voters about the results of the socio- economic , national defense, and security tasks for the first six months of 2026; and the direction and key tasks for the last six months of the year. Accordingly, the ward will continue to implement many solutions to improve urban infrastructure, address violations of urban order, improve environmental sanitation, dismantle illegal markets, promote digital transformation, and implement public investment projects in the area. Among these, several key projects are underway, such as the beautification of Vinh Ho street, urban infrastructure improvement, renovation of old apartment buildings, and school construction projects.
After hearing the reports, voters in Dong Da ward made several suggestions directly related to people's lives and urban management.

Voters Doan Mai and Nguyen Quang Thuan suggested that construction on Vinh Ho Street should be completed definitively, avoiding prolonged digging that affects the daily lives and traffic of residents. The voters also proposed that priority should be given to widening the road instead of continuing to narrow it for sidewalks.
Regarding the Vinh Ho old apartment building renovation project, voters requested that the authorities clearly announce the implementation timeline so that residents can proactively plan their lives. Some opinions reflected concerns about the situation behind building C2 in Vinh Ho, where vehicles are still encroaching on the sidewalk and entering the playground area, affecting the community living space.

Many voters also expressed concern about waste sorting at source, requesting that the ward soon develop a specific implementation plan and strengthen supervision of construction projects in residential areas. Regarding the dismantling of illegal markets, voters suggested that a suitable plan be developed to relocate and arrange suitable arrangements for businesses in the local market to stabilize people's livelihoods.
Voter Hoang Minh Viet reflected on the potential traffic safety risks posed by the sale of goods and business activities in some alleyways. In particular, in alley 151 Lang Ha – where the "Happy Alley" and "Flowering Street" models are being implemented – the encroachment for unauthorized business activities is affecting urban aesthetics and reducing the effectiveness of the models...
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Viet - a full-time delegate of the Hanoi City National Assembly Delegation and Chairman of the Dong Da Ward People's Council - gave an overview of the outstanding achievements of the ward in the first six months of 2026, especially in election work, budget collection, urban beautification, administrative reform, digital transformation, and ensuring social security... He also provided further information on important issues expected to be considered at the second session of the Dong Da Ward People's Council, second term, 2026-2031.

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Viet affirmed that the opinions and suggestions of voters will be fully compiled by the Ward People's Council and forwarded to relevant agencies for consideration and resolution within their authority; at the same time, he requested the Ward People's Committee and related units to focus on resolving issues of public concern to voters, especially urban order management, environmental sanitation, and the progress of projects in the area.
