Working with programmers to leverage artificial intelligence in the right way and ethically.

NDO - On the afternoon of December 14th, the Google Developer Group MienTrung (GDG MienTrung) community, in collaboration with the Da Nang City Department of Science and Technology and the Da Nang Business Incubator, organized GDG DevFest MienTrung 2024.

With the theme "Catch Me If You Can," GDG DevFest MienTrung 2024 aims to motivate the programming community to participate in the race to develop knowledge and skills, enhance their capabilities, and keep pace with the world 's ever-evolving technology.

The program consists of two parallel components: updating technological knowledge and hands-on programming practice.

GDG DevFest MienTrung 2024 focuses on exploring artificial intelligence (AI) trends, introducing ways to integrate AI into the development of technology products; and guiding programmers to practice directly with AI under the guidance of experts.

The event also discussed another important aspect: Responsible AI. This underscores the need for fairness and transparency in AI models, in addition to building technically accurate models.

In the hands-on sessions, participating programmers directly build chatbots and practice cybersecurity techniques using AI, with learning resources sponsored by Google.

This is the 9th year the event has been held in Da Nang , promoting a spirit of learning and skill enhancement among the local community, helping them keep up with the ever-changing trends in the industry and access new technologies, especially Google products.

According to Ms. Le Thi Thuc, Deputy Director of the Da Nang City Department of Science and Technology: "Over the years, the Department of Science and Technology has partnered with many events of the GDG MienTrung community group, especially DevFest. We highly appreciate GDG MienTrung's efforts in building and connecting a sustainable technology ecosystem in the locality, by creating a quality learning and creative environment for programmers."
