The traditional "Big 6" now includes Newcastle – a wealthy team that has been more consistent than both Man United and Tottenham over the past three seasons, while Unai Emery's Aston Villa remains a formidable opponent. Overall, according to expert analysis and data systems, the title contenders are still limited to just three names: Arsenal, Man City, and Liverpool – three teams that have been consistently strong over the past five years and still possess a star-studded squad that surpasses the rest.

With Chelsea, they are in a difficult-to-predict mid-table position. In many matches, Chelsea have shown strength comparable to the top teams.

But in many encounters with average or weak teams, Chelsea played as if they were half-asleep. Due to a lack of consistency, Enzo Maresca's team is clearly not ready to win a long-term tournament.

If Premier League representatives continue to perform well in Europe, English football will receive an additional Champions League spot – meaning the top 5 teams in their respective leagues will qualify for the continent's premier competition.
