The "Green Startup" program is hosted by the Center for Business Research and Enterprise Support (BSA), in coordination with its partners. To date, this ecosystem has given wings to more than 1,000 startup models, especially from young farmers with many creative projects, contributing to the effective exploitation of local resources and bringing economic and social values.
After 12 years of implementing the "Green Startup" program and 10 times organizing the competition nationwide, the Green Startup Competition 2025 was organized to Search for viable startup models; at the same time, it is a place to accelerate, incubate, connect markets and spread the value of local products through communication, training and trade promotion activities.

The contest is open to: Individuals, startup groups, student startups; Cooperatives, cooperatives, newly operating small businesses; Community development projects, agricultural tourism, sustainable livelihood models, specialty products - clean food. Projects that have won awards but have new improvements and developments; No age, gender, ethnicity or locality restrictions.
According to information from the organizing committee, this year's competition continues to focus on the following areas: Agriculture, forestry, fisheries; Biotechnology, food processing; Community tourism, agricultural tourism; Smart livelihood models, circular economy, adaptation to climate change; Business creating social impact and preserving indigenous cultural values.
Competition Timeline
The competition is divided into two groups: Group A: For new startup projects, with prototype products or products that have been on the market for less than 1 year. Group B: For organizations and businesses that have been operating for more than 1 year, have commercialized products/services, and have been operating for no more than 5 years. Projects that have won high prizes (First, Second, Third) in 2024 will not be allowed to participate again this year.
Winning projects have the opportunity to receive cash prizes and specialized support packages. Finalists will receive basic and specialized training in product development - business - market; display products at the final round in Ho Chi Minh City; have the opportunity to connect with distribution systems, investors, and domestic and foreign buyers.
