The Aspiration to Live - A humanitarian television program, although it has been operating for 17 years, has built a system and grassroots humanitarian movement, and is now reorganizing to continue its journey of serving the poor.
From 64 provinces and cities, it was reorganized to 34 provinces and cities. Local government was reduced from 3 levels to 2 levels. Agencies, organizations, associations, etc. were reorganized and of course, the executive personnel were also arranged and restructured to suit the new functions and situation.
Choosing the form of multimedia communication, coordinating with many functional agencies and organizations, to convey and spread the spirit of "Connecting the community, helping the poor to revive", Khat Vong Song in 17 years of traveling across the country, with one trip to help each week, has flexibly applied many solutions, adapting to each stage, to the actual situation of life, as well as the characteristics of the region.
"Aspiration to Live" characters receive gifts from the program and benefactors at the event to welcome "Aspiration to Live" into its 17th year.
Initial stage: from 2008 to 2012, highlighting "The greatest aspiration of human beings is the aspiration to live", to reach out to families - poor people who unfortunately encounter disasters and illnesses, they are anxious, trying to rise up every day, every hour but still feel like they are drowning in the ocean. The goal is to provide comprehensive assistance to households in especially difficult circumstances, instead of giving gifts to hundreds of households like the movements at that time.
Advanced stage: From 2013 to 2019, spreading the spirit of Desire to Live, bringing assistance across 3 regions and 64 provinces and cities. In addition to improving the effectiveness of assistance so that people have the conditions to recover, forming more expanded activities for many disadvantaged groups such as: Nutritional milk for sick children and poor children, Light for poor schools, Tet for poor patients and lonely elderly people, Humanitarian relief activities for people affected by natural disasters and floods...
Epidemic phase: from 2020 to 2022, flexibly convert the form and implementation solutions, support solutions, through remote connection, suitable for the epidemic situation in each locality (commune/district/province level), to both provide timely assistance and comply with the government's epidemic prevention policies and regulations, ensuring safety for the implementing force and the system of participating units, clubs, teams and philanthropists.
Post-epidemic recovery phase: from 2023 to June 2025, gradually adjust aid sources, prioritize allocation to remote provinces, disadvantaged provinces, provinces where the movement is still weak and operates irregularly, increase expansion activities by giving nutritious meals on weekends to sick children...

The goal of "Helping the poor to recover" must be associated with the solution of "Helping with fishing rods, not just helping fish", so with 4 forms of mixed assistance: Medical examination and treatment, House construction and repair, Taking children to school, and Consulting on livelihood solutions, it requires the cooperation, dedication and suitability of many coordinating agencies and organizations, especially the government and grassroots associations and teams.
For the past 17 years, the weekly journey to help a poor family of the Humanitarian TV Program Desire to Live has had to struggle and adapt to the general situation of the country and society. In addition to activities to help the poor, it has also gradually convinced local agencies, associations and volunteer communities about their cooperation, goals, methods and wholeheartedly supported connecting solutions to build a humanitarian movement, form local volunteer teams and communities, to help with local social security activities.
The 17-year journey of Aspiration for Life is not only the figure of more than 100 billion directly donated to families, 260 houses built and repaired, and 80 cases supported with high-tech medical treatment, but more importantly, it has formed a humanitarian movement in localities such as Ca Mau, Hau Giang, Kien Giang, Binh Phuoc , Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan... Thereby, model models, suitable for the characteristics of the Association - Union, are built into a system, gathering philanthropists from many professions, many ages... as an effective foundation for social security activities in localities.
Resurrection, something that both the "giver" and the "receiver" wish to achieve.
