Through social media, after nearly a month, Ms. Truong Thi Tuyet, an official of the Nong Son Commune People's Committee, raised over 40 million VND. She used all of this money to buy candies, raincoats, warm clothes, canned food, lanterns, etc., to give to children in Hung Son Commune.

Ms. Tuyet said that in order to reach the village and bring the Mid-Autumn Festival to the children in the mountainous region, the volunteer group traveled nearly 200km of winding mountain roads in unfavorable weather conditions.

It is known that Ms. Tuyet regularly calls for help for those in difficult circumstances, the sick, the elderly without support, and personally visits hospitals to inquire about and encourage patients. She and her group of friends have volunteered in mountainous areas more than 10 times, donating hundreds of millions of dong each year and spreading positive energy.

Ahead of the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival, the Youth Union of Nong Son commune, in coordination with the Youth Union of the Da Nang City People's Committee, the Youth Union of the Department of Industry and Trade, Tran Le Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company, and philanthropists, assembled a solar power system and presented 317 gifts to students of Huong Duong Kindergarten (Nong Son commune) with a total value of 150 million VND.

The Youth Union, in coordination with the People's Committee of Nong Son commune and benefactors, distributed 288 gifts to disadvantaged children in the locality and organized the "Mid-Autumn Festival - 2025" at Huong Sen Kindergarten.

According to Mr. Tran Vu Ngoc, Secretary of the Youth Union of Nong Son commune, after the merger, everything is still new, but the Youth Union members and young people are trying their best to call for the cooperation of philanthropists to bring a joyful Mid-Autumn Festival, adding motivation for the children in their lives and studies.

The "Lanterns Lighting Up Dreams 2025" program featured cultural performances and traditional games such as tug-of-war, jump rope, and pouring water into bottles. In particular, the children were able to share in the joy with the Moon Goddess and the Cowherd, and participate in quizzes with prizes, which they thoroughly enjoyed.

On this occasion, Quan Am Pagoda ( Lam Dong province ), along with generous donors, presented 276 gifts to children at Pham Phu Thu Primary School (Nong Son commune).

Nun Chúc Nghiêm shared: “With all my heart and deepest affection, every year during the Mid-Autumn Festival, I and other Buddhists return to our hometown to organize gift-giving for poor students, aiming to create opportunities for them to celebrate a joyful and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival.”

Similarly, joy also came to the children at Zơ Nông Primary School (Thạnh Mỹ commune) when the representative office of the Vietnam Industrial and Commercial Bank ( VietinBank in Da Nang) presented 267 practical gifts, including books, comic books, blankets, cooking stoves, and other essential items, with a total value of 70 million VND.

Ms. Dinh Thi Kim Ngan, Head of VietinBank's Representative Office in Da Nang, said: "Seeing poor children with difficult circumstances, orphans, and disabled children enjoying the joyful atmosphere of Children's Day warms our hearts and motivates us to create more meaningful activities to share with them."

In addition, the children also got to watch lion dances, traditional drum performances, play folk games, participate in quizzes with prizes, and receive free haircuts from skilled barbers from the Dong Tay Barbershop men's haircutting system.

The exchange and gift-giving program at schools not only encourages and motivates children to become good children, good students, and good grandchildren of Uncle Ho, but also inspires the spirit of spreading a warm and humane Mid-Autumn Festival message.
