The admission scores for each school are as follows:
In 2024, Ho Chi Minh City had 98,681 candidates registering to take the 10th grade entrance exam, of which public high schools admitted more than 77,300 students.
The exam took place over two days, June 6-7, and consisted of three subjects: Mathematics, Literature (120 minutes), and Foreign Language (90 minutes). Candidates applying for specialized and integrated classes also took an additional corresponding exam within 150 minutes.
The admission score is the sum of the scores in the three subjects: Literature, Mathematics, and Foreign Language, plus any priority points (if applicable). Candidates must take all three exams, not violate regulations, and not receive a failing grade (0 points). After the results are announced, candidates are not allowed to change their preferences.
