From December 29 to the 5th day of the Lunar New Year, Da Lat attracted 238.000 visitors to visit and relax, an increase of nearly 62% over the same period in 2023. Of these, there were 18.000 international visitors, an increase of 114%. and nearly 180.000 guests staying overnight.
Visitors increased sharply during the 3rd, 3th and 4th days of the Lunar New Year, causing many food service establishments in the central area of Da Lat to be overloaded during peak hours. However, according to Ms. Nguyen Minh Hien, tourists from Hanoi, although crowded, all eating, drinking, entertainment and travel activities are guaranteed, no inconvenience has occurred.
Ms. Nguyen Minh Hien said: "I like the air of Da Lat the most. Da Lat's weather is cold like Hanoi but the air is fresher. There are many beautiful flowers here and Da Lat people are also very hospitable. This is an opportunity for the family to have time to rest after a period of hard work."
The increase in passengers at the same time resulted in some roads in the central area of Da Lat city being overloaded. To avoid local traffic jams like previous years, Da Lat City Police mobilized 100% of its troops to focus on regulating, dividing, and guiding traffic.
According to Major Nguyen Huynh Quoc Trung, Head of the Traffic Police - Order Team, Da Lat City Police, along with preventing traffic jams, patrolling, controlling and handling violations of alcohol concentration and speeding , reckless overtaking is also reinforced by the unit.

At the same time, forces are also deployed to carry out topics, especially the topic of handling alcohol concentration violations. The purpose is to bring a warm Tet holiday to the people and reduce traffic accidents.
