Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen has been promoted to the rank of Major General.

TPO - On June 2nd, in Hanoi, General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security Ministry, and Minister of Public Security, presented the President's Decision promoting Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Quyen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Hanoi City Police, from Colonel to Major General.

Major General Nguyen Ngoc Quyen (born in 1977), from Bac Ninh province; graduated from the D22 course of the People's Police Academy in 2001.

Major General Nguyen Ngoc Quyen rose through the ranks from practical work at the grassroots level and held many important positions within the Hanoi Police force.

At the same time, he paid special attention to building the movement of the entire population protecting national security, promoting the role of the people in maintaining security and order at the grassroots level.

As Deputy Director of the Hanoi City Police, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Quyen was assigned to oversee many key areas related to Party building, force building, grassroots police work, and the nationwide movement to protect national security.
