By many practical activities and actively implementing the movements launched by the superior trade union; in 5 years has supported the construction of 25 and repaired 10 trade union shelters to help trade union members in difficult circumstances have houses and work with peace of mind. On the occasion of holidays and Tet, trade unions at all levels also organized visits, gave gifts, and awarded scholarships to children of labor workers with an amount of more than 5 billion VND. During the Covid-19 epidemic, donated hundreds of millions of dong to the isolation areas of the district, province and southern provinces; supporting tens of tons of rice, instant noodles, other necessities, vegetables and fruits for epidemic-affected localities, in order to contribute to repelling the disease out of the community.
With these contributions, the trade unions and district employees were awarded emulation flags by the Prime Minister to 1 collective and 1 individual; The State President awarded the Second-class Labor Medal to 1 individual; The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded certificates of merit to 6 collectives and 8 individuals; awarded the medal "For the cause of building trade union" to 29 union members; Provincial Labor Confederation awarded Certificates of Merit to 32 collectives and 68 individuals…
On the basis of the identified goals, the Congress agreed to set out 16 targets and 8 groups of solutions to implement in the 2018-2023 term, determined to build a strong trade union organization, in order to strengthen the construction of a strong trade union. level of Vietnamese workers in the period of industrialization, modernization and international integration, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
