The village of Pắn Pé has 101 households with 442 inhabitants. Previously, the village had not received investment for the construction of a community center. Understanding the people's aspirations, the Party Committee and the government of Khuất Xá commune have decided to build a community center in the central area of the village.
Mr. Hoang Van Dung, Party Branch Secretary and Head of Pan Pe village, said: "Following the principle of 'the State and the People working together,' since October 2025, the Party branch has actively propagated and thoroughly explained the policy of building a community center to all Party members during meetings. At the same time, the Party branch provided specific information about the location, scale, and project components; and assigned each Party member to be responsible for disseminating information and mobilizing households whose land is affected..."
Thanks to the active propaganda and mobilization efforts of the Party branch, the Front Committee, and village organizations, the people have clearly understood the purpose and significance of the project. To date, all 5 households whose land was affected have agreed to donate more than 2,000 m² of land for the construction of the community center. Currently, the land has been leveled and compacted, meeting the conditions for commencement of construction.
Mr. Vuong Van Hien, Deputy Head of Pan Pe village and a Party member, said: "I have always determined that I must be a role model and take the lead in all local movements. Therefore, my family donated more than 500 square meters of land to create a space for building a community center."
Like Mr. Hien, after being informed and persuaded, Mr. Vuong Van Cam's family donated nearly 400 m² of land for the construction of a village public facility, even though the land had previously been offered for sale at nearly 100 million VND. Mr. Cam shared that initially, his family was hesitant because it was a valuable asset; however, after understanding the significance and long-term benefits of the project for the community, he agreed to donate the land.
In addition, over the past period, villagers have voluntarily donated more than 3,200 square meters of land to open new internal roads, facilitating the transportation of agricultural products in the more than 20-hectare field. Villagers have also actively contributed labor and funds to build these roads. From 2022 to the present, villagers have contributed over 300 million VND and nearly 500 days of labor to build village roads and other projects.
Mr. Vi Van Phong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Khuat Xa commune, said: "In recent times, the people of Pan Pe village have actively contributed their efforts, voluntarily donated land, and joined hands for the benefit of the community, in the spirit of 'community affairs, the common good,' putting personal interests above personal gain. To date, the appearance of Pan Pe village is increasingly improving; transportation infrastructure and facilities are gradually being completed, and the material and spiritual lives of the people have seen many clear changes."
It is evident that every square meter of land donated, every day of labor, and every financial contribution has not only built a modern infrastructure but also fostered a spirit of solidarity and camaraderie among the villagers. Today, Pắn Pé not only has well-maintained roads and pathways but also unwavering faith, becoming a shining example of community strength in the journey of building a more prosperous and sustainable homeland.
