On the afternoon of July 2, the Lao Cai Provincial Military Party Committee announced the decision to dissolve, merge and establish party organizations under the Provincial Military Party Committee.
The conference announced the decisions of the Provincial Military Party Committee on the establishment of Party Committees under the Provincial Military Party Committee; the decision to appoint the Standing Committee, Executive Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee, and Head of the Inspection Committee at the grassroots level.

The Lao Cai Provincial Military Party Committee has announced the decision to establish 3 new Party Committees: Staff Department, Political Department and Logistics-Technical Department; 5 Party Committees of the Regional Defense Command; Border Guard Command Party Committee and the 254th Infantry Regiment Party Committee, the 121st Infantry Regiment Party Committee directly under the Provincial Military Party Committee, in accordance with the new organizational structure after the merger and arrangement of local military agencies.

Presenting the decisions to establish new Party Committees and giving instructions at the conference, Colonel Hoang Van Toan, Deputy Political Commissar of Lao Cai Provincial Military Command, requested the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and commanders of units to truly unite, promote democracy, responsibility and collective intelligence; strictly follow the principles, maintain the leadership of the Party; quickly stabilize the unit situation, do a good job of political and ideological education; consolidate and build the unit, and organize the successful implementation of all assigned tasks.
