Today (June 28th), more than 1 million students nationwide are entering the second and final day of the 2024 high school graduation exam.

In 2023, over 680,000 candidates nationwide took the Geography exam, with an average score of 6.1. The most common score was 6.2. More than 91,000 candidates scored below average, accounting for 13.35%.

The 2024 high school graduation exam will be organized in a way that remains largely stable compared to the 2020-2023 period. Accordingly, the Ministry of Education and Training will provide overall guidance, while provinces and centrally-governed cities will be responsible for organizing the entire exam locally.

The examination boards organized the exams on June 26, 27, 28, and 29; grading started on June 29; results were announced at 8:00 AM on July 17, and high school graduation was recognized on July 19. At the end of the first day of the high school graduation exam (June 27), 10 candidates violated the exam regulations, of which 9 were suspended (in the Literature exam on the morning of June 27, 7 candidates violated the regulations and were suspended; of which, 3 candidates brought unauthorized materials and 4 candidates used mobile phones). No exam officials violated the regulations on the first day of the exam.

The Ministry of Education and Training has just released a report on the Natural Sciences and Social Sciences exams of the 2024 high school graduation exam, which took place this morning (June 28). According to the report, an additional 9 candidates have been disqualified from the exam.

Thus, as of now, 18 candidates have been suspended from taking the 2024 high school graduation exam.

According to the general assessment of the Ministry of Education and Training, the exam on the morning of June 28th proceeded in accordance with regulations. This afternoon, June 28th, candidates will continue to take the Foreign Language exam starting at 2:30 PM, with a time limit of 60 minutes.
