High School Graduation Exam Schedule 2024
Accordingly, the 2024 high school graduation exam has 1,071,393 registered candidates (an increase of over 45,000 candidates compared to the 2023 exam). Candidates will take the exam at 2,323 examination centers (an increase of 51 examination centers compared to 2023) with a total of 45,149 examination rooms. According to the Ministry of Education and Training's summary, by the end of yesterday afternoon's registration period, 1,060,356 candidates nationwide had completed the registration procedures, reaching a rate of 98.96%.

2024 is the last year the high school graduation exam will be held under the 2006 general education program, so the number of independent candidates is also higher, with 46,978 candidates (accounting for 4.38% of the total number of candidates). Among them are many candidates who did not pass the graduation exam in 2020, 2021, etc., and are registering to retake the exam this year because from 2025 onwards, the high school graduation exam will be held under the 2018 general education program.
