Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Thuy, Deputy Head of the Finance and Planning Department of Quang Yen Town: "Improving the effectiveness of the collective economic model and cooperatives" Over the past period, in the town area, Many cooperative models have emerged. These cooperatives are exemplary advanced models in production and business. They have utilized their potential and advantages to invest in aquaculture, achieving high yields and building strong brands in the market. The cooperative economic model, with cooperatives as its core, promotes economic development, improves the lives of its members, and attracts many individuals, households, and organizations to participate. This creates a foundation for restructuring the local agricultural sector, contributing to the development of new rural areas and civilized urban areas in the region. Ms. Le Thi Tha, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Director of Hoa Phong High-Quality Agricultural Services Cooperative (Dong Trieu City): "For a cooperative to be strong, it must have a good management team." Having been involved with the new cooperative economic model for nearly 20 years, I believe that the most important factor for development is the leadership and management team of the cooperative. The Hoa Phong High-Quality Agricultural Cooperative, from its inception, focused on developing products closely linked to farmers. At that time, the cooperative faced difficulties in terms of capital, production experience, building supply chains, and finding markets. The cooperative's leadership sought and implemented appropriate solutions in linking production with farmers; leveraging state and provincial policies and mechanisms to invest in infrastructure and build a production chain model to create quality products. Cooperative managers must possess the necessary qualifications, capabilities, experience, and passion for the cooperative economic model... |
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Ha, Director of Viet Hung Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Cooperative (Ha Long City): "Focus on linking production with farmers." Viet Hung Cooperative is one of the cooperatives in the province that actively applies scientific and technological advancements to production to further enhance the quality of its OCOP products. After four years of establishment, the cooperative's main products are: Hoanh Bo guava, brown rice tea, black beans, black sesame, and Son Duong braised pork. All products have been awarded stars. Over the years, the cooperative has linked hundreds of farmers to cultivate dozens of hectares of guava in Son Duong commune; and linked households in Dong Son commune to cultivate golden flower tea... Linking with farmers creates a concentrated, synchronized production area, facilitating the application of technology, standardizing product criteria and quality, and enabling the production of products large enough to meet market demands; creating products with unique characteristics linked to the regional culture. Ms. Tran Thi Thuy, Nam Hai Quang Ninh Fish Sauce Production Cooperative (Uong Bi City): "Ensuring jobs and income for workers" Having worked at the cooperative since its inception, I believe the working environment there is similar to that of a business. When workers join, the cooperative organizes training and guidance to help them understand the production process; it encourages and rewards innovative ideas and technical improvements that bring efficiency. We workers are guaranteed employment and income, and the cooperative fully implements all policies and regulations for workers. This motivates us to stay with the cooperative for the long term. We hope that cooperatives will continue to develop to create more jobs and income for people in rural and mountainous areas of the province. |
