Ms. Dong Thi Thu Huong, Director of the CooperativeMinh Tien Agriculture , Tien Tien Commune: Partnering with Cooperatives in Trade Promotion Established in 2018, Minh Tien Agricultural Cooperative currently has nearly 50 hectares of hybrid lychee and longan orchards cultivated according to VietGAP standards, and over 250 hectares under production linkages. We focus on producing and processing products from lychee and longan such as dried lychee, dried longan, and longan wrapped in lotus leaves, creating jobs for nearly 400 workers. The cooperative has dried longan and Huong Chi longan products certified as OCOP 3 stars, and early-ripening hybrid lychee certified as OCOP 4 stars. In the next term, I hope the Provincial Cooperative Union will continue to provide more policies to support cooperatives in trade promotion activities and opportunities to link and cooperate with reputable businesses and organizations... contributing to improving the efficiency of product consumption chains and income for members. From there, we will promote the effectiveness and advantages of the new cooperative model, strengthening the collective economic sector and cooperatives in the province. |
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai, Director of the Agricultural Service CooperativeAn Ninh, Phu Duc commune: Supporting investment in infrastructure for processing and preserving agricultural products. From a cooperative operating in a purely agricultural area with rice as its main production, the An Ninh Agricultural Service Cooperative has boldly reorganized production towards a concentrated approach, building a model of linked production fields along the value chain with an area of 50.9 hectares. Based on the organization of production - harvesting - milling - packaging - consumption, along with improving product quality, the cooperative has built the brand "Gianh Village Rice," purchasing 100-300 tons of paddy rice annually, increasing members' income from 240,000 to 540,000 VND per sao (approximately 1000 square meters). With the aim of expanding the linked area to about 100 hectares, the cooperative hopes that the Provincial Cooperative Union will continue to support investment in processing and preservation infrastructure, as well as support trade promotion and market connections. |
Mr. Hoang Van Luong, Director of Hoang Luong Traditional Medicine Cooperative, Tien Hai Commune: Strengthening in-depth training and workshops on cooperative management. In the context of the Party and State's increasing focus on sustainable agricultural development, green economy, circular economy, and enhancing the value of local agricultural products, medicinal herb cooperatives are identified as one of the models with great potential. However, in reality, newly established cooperatives like ours are still facing many difficulties: lack of initial investment capital, limitations in science and technology, advanced processing technology, and difficulty accessing stable consumer markets. Therefore, in the next term, we hope that the Provincial Cooperative Union will strengthen training programs on cooperative management, support access to preferential capital sources, transfer of science and technology, build standardized raw material areas, and promote trade for medicinal herb products. I believe that, with the support of the State and the Provincial Cooperative Union, small medicinal herb cooperatives will gradually assert their role in rural economic development, contributing to the preservation of valuable medicinal resources, creating jobs, increasing people's income, and making a positive contribution to the socio-economic development of Hung Yen province in particular and the whole country in general. |
