With many years of experience in hotel management and business, Ms. Vu Thi Thoa, owner of Vu Gia Hotel, shared: "Driven by passion and a desire to acquire good knowledge and skills to maintain and develop the family's economy , and contribute to building the Sam Son tourism brand, I have strived to learn and be cautious in every gesture when communicating with customers. Words like 'yes, sir/ma'am,' 'sorry,' and a welcoming attitude are essential to building a friendly tourism image. Therefore, I always remind my staff and workers to remember these when communicating with customers. Currently, my family owns two hotels, providing employment for about 75 seasonal workers with incomes ranging from 9 to 18 million VND per person per month."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy, owner of Thuy Nga restaurant, said: "Those of us in the tourism and service industry must always learn to improve the quality of customer service. Focusing on communication, ensuring the quality of products and food safety, as well as financial management, are crucial factors in retaining customers and building a brand. I regularly participate in training courses organized by the association and the ward to help make my business more efficient. Currently, my family provides employment for 35 workers."

With over 12,300 members, operating in 61 residential groups and police women's branches, the women of Sam Son ward are contributing to building a civilized and professional tourism brand. The ward's Women's Union has focused on disseminating information and raising awareness among officials, female members, and all segments of the population about the potential and strengths of the local tourism economy. The Union supports female members with capital, digital transformation applications in business (using social media and online booking sites like Booking and Agoda to promote hotels, restaurants, seafood businesses, etc.); provides training in business management, household financial management; food safety and hygiene; and assists with business registration procedures, environmental protection commitments, and local security and order regulations.

The association proactively and collaboratively organizes training courses on civilized communication and behavior in tourism according to the ward's code of conduct for its members and women working in tourism and services... aiming to raise awareness and improve friendly communication and behavior skills; focusing on improving service quality and service style with the spirit of: welcoming, "pleasing guests upon arrival, satisfying guests upon departure," avoiding price gouging and unfair pricing; signing commitments to publicly display prices and ensure the quality of goods and services matches the advertisements...

The Women's Union of the ward conducts monthly inspections and awareness campaigns at tourism businesses and service establishments.

In early May, the Women's Union of the ward organized a propaganda team combined with a field survey at several typical tourism service businesses on main roads. They disseminated important information to households on: food safety and hygiene; communication skills; fire prevention and control; price listing; and updated legal knowledge regarding tourism service businesses. This activity continues to be maintained by the Women's Union of the ward through monthly surveys and propaganda. Through this, they understand the situation and promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles for their members.

To create a positive impression for tourists visiting Sam Son, the Women's Union of the ward directed its branches to promote the campaign "Building a family with 5 no's and 3 clean's"; organize campaigns to clean up the beach; plant flowers and trees along the routes, collect waste, remove illegal advertising leaflets; and encourage service establishments to limit the use of single-use plastic bags and replace them with environmentally friendly materials...

Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Duong, President of the Women's Union of Sam Son Ward, said: "The Union has implemented many activities to create highlights for tourism promotion and affirm the role of the organization in promoting tourism economic development. With the spirit of each person doing a small thing, such as maintaining hygiene, behaving civilly, promoting the image on social media..., female officials and members in the ward are all contributing to creating a good impression on tourists, contributing to building a civilized and professional Sam Son tourism brand."
