For several days now, Ms. Le Thi Lan (Thanh Sen ward) has been continuously posting ads on social media looking for someone to clean her house. However, unlike normal days when people would call to accept the job within minutes, this time of year, leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), "demand exceeds supply." "My family had to wait more than a week to find someone to clean," Ms. Lan shared.

As the owner of a Tet (Lunar New Year) decoration shop, Ms. Nguyen Thien Tam (Cam Binh commune) had to seek cleaning services because her end-of-year business was too busy. "My house has three floors, each 100 square meters. Doing it myself would take a whole day. Spending some money for cleanliness is worth it," Ms. Tam said.
Surveys show that there are many reputable cleaning service providers in the province, such as Gia Viet Company, Central Vietnam Green House Cleaning Company, Hoang Loan House Cleaning Company, Ha Tinh House Cleaning Company, etc. To meet the increasing demand, these companies have had to hire more workers and work overtime to ensure order deadlines are met. Not only households, but also many companies, schools, hospitals, etc., use this service.

Gia Viet Trading and Service Co., Ltd. is also almost fully booked due to a surge in customer orders. According to Ms. Doan Thi Khai, the company's director, their schedule is nearly full these days. Each day, dozens of customers book services, but the current workforce can only accommodate 4-5 households. Many customers willing to pay more still have to wait because there are no available slots. Popular service packages include hourly cleaning, general cleaning by the session, work during business hours, or on a regular basis. Prices range from 1 to 3 million VND depending on the area and workload, an increase of about 300,000 VND compared to normal days.
Thanks to the increased demand for cleaning services, workers' incomes have improved significantly. "Working for 10 days during Tet (Lunar New Year) is equivalent to a whole month's work," one employee stated. Besides cleaning private homes, companies also undertake cleaning for large projects such as schools, hospitals, and businesses… and predict that service prices will continue to rise in the coming days. Companies advise customers to book early to avoid delays.

At Ha Tinh House Cleaning Company, employees have to work from early morning until late at night. Director Mai Thi Thanh Hoa said: "The number of customers has increased dramatically, with many days fully booked until late afternoon. Even with overtime and hiring additional seasonal workers, meeting all the demand at this time is very difficult."

The high demand also creates opportunities for freelance workers to earn extra income. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc (Thach Xuan commune) said: “Many companies are hiring for seasonal work. If you work diligently from 7 am and 'jump to' several places each day, you will have a good income in the month leading up to Tet to buy things.”
Thanks to the support of cleaning services, many families have reduced the burden of cleaning during the busy end-of-year period, while workers have gained additional income to prepare for a more fulfilling and warm Tet holiday.
