Hanoi University of Education announced its admission scores last weekend based on high school academic transcripts. The cut-off scores for this method ranged from 20.5 to 29.8. The highest cut-off score was for the Mathematics Education major (teaching Mathematics in English), while the lowest was for the Special Education Support major.
This score is the total average score for all subjects or combinations of subjects in grades 10, 11, and 12 as prescribed, plus any bonus points. In addition to meeting the required admission score, candidates must have good conduct and excellent academic performance in all three years of high school.
For the French Language Teacher Training (bilingual program) and Technology Teacher Training programs, the university only requires a GPA of "excellent" in 12th grade. For non-teacher training programs, the standard is a "good" conduct and academic performance rating.

Two weeks ago, Hanoi University of Education announced the cutoff scores based on the results of the aptitude test organized by the university. The Mathematics Education major (teaching Mathematics in English) also had the highest cutoff score - 26.65.
In addition to admissions based on high school transcripts and aptitude test scores, Hanoi Pedagogical University also offers direct admission and admissions based on a combination of high school transcripts and aptitude test results for some majors.
