With the theme of 80 years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness , the Exhibition welcomed nearly 10 million visitors, an impressive number demonstrating its special appeal. However, the mark that the event left behind was not only in its grand scale or the large number of visitors, but also in its ability to strongly spread patriotism, arouse national pride and affirm Vietnam's position and potential on the journey of innovation, integration and development.

The exhibition was held on the largest scale ever, with the full participation of central and local agencies and more than 110 large enterprises and economic groups with more than 230 booths. The exhibition introduced the achievements of nearly 180 industries in all fields, with many documents, materials, artifacts, machinery and equipment, documentaries, reports, vividly and quite comprehensively reflecting the outstanding achievements of our nation under the leadership of the Party.

At the same time, the Exhibition demonstrates the cultural traditions, the spirit of hard work, and effective production and business of the people and enterprises in all regions of the country. In particular, the Exhibition depicts the image of the country and people of Vietnam with thousands of years of heroic history of the nation; the culture imbued with national identity and unity in diversity of 54 ethnic groups; the richness of products in all regions of the country...

The event space vividly recreates the 80-year journey of the country, from simple images of the national resistance day to models of century-old works, Vietnamese intellectual products in the 4.0 industrial era, all honoring the difficult but glorious journey of the nation. One of the highlights of the Exhibition is the application of modern technology and the introduction of many creative display ideas appearing for the first time in a national-scale exhibition. Virtual reality technology, augmented reality, interactive touch screens, 3D models and multimedia projections are synchronously integrated in the exhibition spaces, helping the public not only observe but also directly interact, explore and experience, helping to convey content in a more intuitive, vivid and accessible way.

In particular, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies along with large-scale LED screen systems have brought authentic and engaging cultural experiences. Applied for the first time at the Exhibition, these technologies open up an unprecedented journey of discovery, leading visitors into the space of light and technology at the Historical Road, Cultural Road, "Vietnam - Country - People" Space , or admiring the giant light ball. The harmonious combination of traditional cultural quintessence and modern technology not only creates a strong visual impression, but more importantly, also helps the public deeply understand the value of national culture, affirming the role of culture as an endogenous strength and sustainable resource for national development.

Affirming Vietnamese identity and position

As a prominent event in the series of activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Exhibition received the attention and deep guidance of the Party and State leaders. The opening ceremony of the Exhibition was honored to welcome General Secretary To Lam and many senior leaders of the Party and State.

At the opening ceremony of the Exhibition, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assessed that the Exhibition was scientifically, modernly and professionally designed; the display layout was rich, diverse and comprehensive; the content was authentic, engaging and convincing; the presentation was attractive and impressive through many means, forms and styles, from artifacts, images and documents presented by modern technologies (3D, virtual reality, multimedia audio-visual, artificial intelligence, etc.), with practicality, enjoyment and cultural depth. "The Exhibition deeply reflects and is the crystallization of the contributions and dedication of the entire Party, people and army throughout the glorious and heroic 80-year history of the Vietnamese Revolution, with the very active, proactive and creative participation of Party agencies at the Central level, agencies of the National Assembly, at all levels, sectors, localities, and representatives of the business community in the organization and implementation process", the Prime Minister commented.

During nearly three weeks, the Exhibition welcomed nearly 10 million visitors, including many international delegations, economic experts, investors, and a large number of people, students, and pupils. This interest reflects the common pride in the country's development achievements. Many international visitors expressed their impressions with the way Vietnam introduced renewable energy projects, high-tech agriculture, and digital transformation in state management. The success of the event also lies in the depth of culture and national spirit. Many exhibition booths cleverly integrated traditional heritage and arts such as water puppetry, traditional musical instruments, and handicraft villages, helping to portray a modern Vietnam that is still imbued with its identity. In addition to the exhibition, dozens of seminars and talks were also held, introducing many initiatives such as digital transformation solutions in education, healthcare, clean energy projects, circular economy, creating an important bridge between managers, businesses and scientists, contributing to promoting sustainable development goals.

As planned, the closing ceremony of the National Achievement Exhibition will take place tonight, September 15, promising to be a unique cultural and artistic highlight, concluding a brilliantly successful event. The closing ceremony will honor outstanding collectives and individuals in the organization, announce impressive figures on the number of visitors and booths, and recognize the efforts of thousands of cadres, artists, engineers, and workers who have contributed over the past months.

At the same time, it conveys the message: Today's achievements are just the beginning of Vietnam's journey of innovation and integration. According to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, "The success of the National Achievement Exhibition is clearly demonstrated through three aspects: Size and scale: Affirming the capacity to organize national events, harmoniously combining tradition and modern technology; Social impact: Spreading national pride, encouraging the spirit of dedication and creativity; Foreign relations effect: Contributing to enhancing the image of Vietnam as dynamically developing, friendly and ready for international cooperation".

When the lights of the art program with the theme "I love my Fatherland" at the closing ceremony on September 15 gradually fade away, the success of the Exhibition will continue to resonate as proof of the vitality, aspiration and new position of Vietnam on the world map, adding motivation for the entire Party, people and army to firmly realize the goal of becoming a developed, high-income country by the middle of the 21st century.
