Through practical and meaningful actions stemming from the passionate hearts and creative minds of each youth union member, the Youth Month of 2025 concluded with many beautiful milestones for the province's youth. Regardless of the size of the projects and activities undertaken during the Youth Month, they all embodied the dedication, pioneering spirit, and volunteerism of the youth in working together with the Party committee and government to build an increasingly prosperous and beautiful homeland.

A SERIES OF SIGNIFICANT PROJECTS
With a high level of commitment, activities for the 2025 Youth Union campaign began immediately after the launch ceremony. Specifically, the Youth Union at all levels focused on key tasks: promoting and educating about the glorious traditions of Vietnamese youth and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union ; organizing activities to foster the pioneering, volunteer, and creative spirit of youth in building and defending the Fatherland; promoting the leading and core role of Youth Union members in digital transformation; organizing activities to support young people in starting businesses, establishing careers, and integrating into the international community; caring for and supporting young people; building a strong Youth Union and expanding the front of solidarity and gathering of youth.
In the Youth Union, all levels in the province have promoted the pioneering, volunteer, and creative spirit of their members, focusing resources on projects and activities that involve youth participation in building new rural areas, protecting the environment, responding to climate change, building urban civilization, and volunteering for community life… Typical examples include the grassroots Youth Union branches in communes and towns in Vinh Loi district, which have organized and implemented projects such as: clearing bushes along 22km of rural roads; cleaning and collecting garbage along 18km of roads; removing illegal advertisements; beautifying roads to be "bright - green - clean - beautiful"; building house foundations for poor households; planting 2,000 trees of various types… In addition, they also mobilized donations of 25 scholarships, 1,100 notebooks, and 10 school bags for students in difficult circumstances; and 13 gift packages containing essential goods for people with disabilities.

CREATING A WIDESPREAD IMPACT IN SOCIETY
This year's Youth Union activities, implemented by the Youth Union from the provincial to the grassroots level, were highly action-oriented, widespread, practical, and effective, attracting the active and responsible participation of a large number of Youth Union members and young people. These activities garnered social attention and clearly affirmed the role of the Youth Union and the youth of the province. Notably, the Bac Lieu City Youth Union organized and implemented over 40 projects and activities throughout the Youth Union period with a total value exceeding 300 million VND, attracting over 1,700 Youth Union members and young people, creating a profound and widespread impact on society. Highlights included projects such as the "Road 4.0" initiative to reduce cash usage, the "Flowering Utility Poles" project, the "Second Life" of tires, and the "Reducing Plastic Waste" initiative in local markets.
According to assessments from grassroots Youth Union branches, the positive results achieved in youth activities are due to the attention, guidance, and support from local Party committees and authorities. The Youth Union branches have also effectively advised and coordinated youth activities, bringing practical benefits that spread throughout the community. The organized activities are clearly defined, tailored to the specific conditions of each locality and unit, thereby attracting a large number of Youth Union members and young people to participate.
The Youth Movement was officially launched in 2004 to affirm the pioneering role of young people in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. After more than two decades of development, the movement has attracted hundreds of millions of young people to participate, becoming a vibrant emulation campaign among youth, contributing to changing the face of urban and rural areas, protecting the environment, supporting the community, and developing socio -economic aspects. The Youth Movement is not only an opportunity for young people to reflect on their contributions but also a chance for each Youth Union member to demonstrate their responsibility to the country. With the theme "Bac Lieu Youth Proudly and Firmly Following the Party," the 2025 Youth Movement will not only recall the glorious historical traditions but also further motivate young people to act resolutely to contribute more to the development of the country.
