Mudryk's unusual appearance

Mykhailo Mudryk recently attracted attention by appearing with a completely new look and taking on a special job in his native Ukraine.

For months, the winger has been virtually invisible to the public. He only occasionally posts updates on social media. But recently, a strikingly different image of Mudryk has gone viral.

He appeared with long hair, working with a film crew in Ukraine, even still wearing his Chelsea sweatpants . His mood was described as quite good. According to the Daily Mail , Mudryk is assisting with a film project related to his former club, Shakhtar Donetsk.

The 24-year-old star joined Chelsea in January 2023 for a fee that could reach £89 million. While at Chelsea, the Ukrainian international scored 10 goals in 73 appearances across all competitions. However, Mudryk has been sidelined since November 2024 after being suspended by the FA for alleged doping. As soon as the ban was announced, the player immediately denied the allegations.

"I was informed that my sample contained a banned substance. This has truly shocked me because I have never intentionally used any banned substances. My team and I are investigating to find out the cause," Mudryk wrote on social media. "I know I am innocent and hope to return to the pitch soon. I cannot share more until the investigation is complete."

The last time Mudryk appeared in Chelsea's matchday squad was against Aston Villa on December 1st last year, when he was on the bench but not used. Mudryk is currently suspended and his future at Chelsea and his international career is in serious doubt.
