Actress Chan Man-yi passed away on the morning of June 12th in Hong Kong after a period of battling illness.

According to HK01 , actress Chan Man-yi, wife of the late actor Liao Kai-chi, passed away in hospital after battling illness, at the age of 65. The information was confirmed by her two sons on social media. In the obituary, the family stated that the actress passed away surrounded by the care and support of her loved ones.

The family expressed their gratitude to the medical team for their dedicated care of Tran Man Nhi during her treatment. While inevitably grieving, relatives said they believe the actress has now found peace. According to Tran Man Nhi's wishes, the funeral will be held privately and discreetly, for family and close friends only, and will not be open to the public.
