Bob Dylan's portrayal of her in Desolate Row is tinged with religious allegories.

The Lumineers wrote about her in a haunting, eerie melody. She is also the subject of one of The Band's best songs, but Ophelia is there in a mysterious way, both a Shakespearean character and an allusion to a comedic actress.

Taylor Swift's song is different in that, while the other artists are all male and view Ophelia from the outside, Taylor sees her from a feminine perspective.
