The report presented at the summary conference showed that in 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and its member organizations in Hanoi proactively developed and promptly implemented their annual work plans in conjunction with the local political tasks. A highlight was the focus on guiding and directing the organization of the Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels for the 2024-2029 term, leaving many positive impressions of innovation and creativity, truly becoming a festival for all strata of the people. The Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi also coordinated with the Hanoi People's Committee to complete the construction and repair of 714 solidarity houses for poor households and those with difficult circumstances, contributing to the goal of eliminating 100% of temporary and dilapidated houses in the city. The "For the Poor" Fund at all three levels received donations totaling 49.2 billion VND. From the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels, 70.073 billion VND was allocated to support the construction and repair of 1,405 solidarity houses worth 43.82 billion VND...

At the conference, the Chairwoman of the Hanoi City Fatherland Front Committee, Nguyen Lan Huong, affirmed that in 2025, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the city will continue to innovate the forms of organizing propaganda and mobilization, creating widespread impact and consensus in society, gathering the great national unity to participate in the overall development of the city. In the spirit of the Fatherland Front's activities always accompanying the development of the Capital, Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong suggested that the Fatherland Front at all levels should focus on implementing the "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" emulation movement with specific models and tasks, with the spirit of having only a starting point, not an end point, to "tidy homes, beautiful streets, and a clean Capital".

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong requested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the city continue to demonstrate its role as a center of unity and mobilization of the people to build a civilized and happy capital city. Specifically, the Front needs to continue to adhere to its functions of political consultation, uniting the people, promoting democracy, protecting the people's right to self-governance, participating in Party building, and engaging in social criticism. Along with this, it is necessary to balance humanitarian and charitable activities with the Front's political activities in the context of streamlining the apparatus according to Resolution 18, with the spirit of avoiding overlap and not substituting for others.

Speaking at the conference, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, To Thi Bich Chau, stated that in the coming period, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the city needs to continue focusing on implementing the conclusions and directives of the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Central Steering Committee on summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 18 of the 12th Party Central Committee on "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the organizational structure of the political system to be streamlined, effective, and efficient." This includes consolidating the organizational structure to be streamlined, improving the quality of cadres; and innovating the content and methods of operation. It also involves guiding the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in preparing and organizing Party Congresses at all levels, leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party, and activities related to the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

On behalf of the President of Vietnam, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, To Thi Bich Chau, presented the Third-Class Labor Order to Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Ha, Chief of the Office of the Hanoi City Fatherland Front Committee.

Ms. To Thi Bich Chau affirmed that, with the sustainable values ​​already achieved, with vibrant practical experience and the strong determination of the leaders, officials, and civil servants working in the Fatherland Front at all levels of the city, as well as the close guidance of Party committees at all levels, the close coordination of the government, and the agreement and support of the people of Hanoi, the Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee will successfully complete the tasks set out for 2025, contributing to the successful realization of the goal: by 2030, Hanoi will be a "Cultural - Civilized - Modern" capital city, green, smart, a place where cultural essence converges, deeply integrated into the international community, highly competitive, and with a level of development on par with the capitals of developed countries in the region.
